Longstanton Bowls Club, play outdoor lawn bowls during the summer bowling season (April to early September). The bowls green is located at the Longstanton Recreation Ground, on Over road, between the Pavilion and the tennis courts. The Club plays competitive bowls in 3 different leagues in the Cambridge area with multiple teams in some of the leagues.

In addition to the competitive leagues, informal friendly roll-ups are held on Monday evenings from 6pm and on Thursday afternoons from 2pm. There are also numerous friendly events organised throughout the season. Membership for new adult members for the first year is £10. If you’re new to bowls please come along on a Monday or Thursday, give it a try, we would love to meet you. All we ask is that you wear flat soled shoes, all other equipment can be provided.
