A14 Road Closures week commencing 31st May 2021

Full closures
Tuesday 1 to Wednesday 2 (two nights)

  • A1 northbound Brampton Hut exit slip
    Vehicles will be diverted north to Alconbury to then use A1 southbound and either continue south or exit for access to Brampton Hut roundabout
  • A1 northbound Brampton Hut entry slip
    Vehicles wishing to access the A1 northbound from the A141 westbound will be diverted south on the A1 to Buckden roundabout and return on the northbound carriageway
  • A141 eastbound link New Ellington Jct 21 to Brampton Hut roundabout
    Vehicles will be diverted to continue on the A14 eastbound to Godmanchester Jct 23, exit and return on the A14 westbound, exit onto the A1 northbound at Brampton Interchange Jct 22. A1 southbound traffic will continue on the A1 to Alconbury to return on the A1 southbound. A141 eastbound traffic will then exit to Brampton Hut.
    Non-motorway traffic will be diverted to exit the A14 at Thrapston Jct 13 to the A605 and then use the A1139 Jct 3, The Serpentine, A15 to B1043 southbound to Alconbury.  From here, onto the A1307 eastbound to Spittals and then A141 westbound to re-join Brampton Hut
