A14 Road Closures week commencing 25th January 2021

Full closures
Monday 25 to Friday 29 (five nights)

B1514 Brampton Road between the Hinchingbrooke Park Road emergency exit and Edison Bell Way
Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, Ermine Street B1044 to Spittals roundabout, A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
Residents living between the closure points will be provided with an escort

Monday 25 to Tuesday 26 (two nights)

A1307 westbound between Swavesey North roundabout and Fenstanton
Vehicles will be diverted east on A14 to Histon Jct 32, exit and return on the A14 westbound to the A428. North at Caxton Gibbet onto the A1198 and onto the A1307 at Godmanchester

Monday 25 (one night)

A1307 eastbound exit slip from A14 at Girton
Vehicles wishing to exit the A14 to the A1307 Huntingdon Road will be warned in advance to exit the A14 at Bar Hill Jct 25 to access the A1307

Wednesday 27 to Thursday 18 (two nights)

A1307 eastbound between Fenstanton and Swavesey North roundabout
Vehicles will be diverted west on the A1307 to Godmanchester, south on A1198, east on A428 to the A14. Exit the A14 at Histon Jct 32 and return on A14 westbound to Swavesey Jct 24b

Saturday 30 5am to 11.59pm (19 hours)

Brampton Road B1514 between station car park and Edison Bell Way
Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, St Peters Road to A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
Pedestrians will be diverted alongside the car park and under the railway line to join Edison Bell Way by Aldi
