A14 Road Closures week commencing 17th August 2020

Full closures
Monday 17 to Friday 21 (five nights)

• Hinchingbrooke Park Road/B1514 Brampton Road junction
  Vehicles will be diverted via the Hinchingbrooke Park loop, towards Brampton on the B1514 to the village roundabout and return eastbound from here for access to Huntingdon

Monday 17 (one night)

• A428 eastbound Madingley to A14 eastbound Girton Jct 31
  Motorway traffic will be diverted onto A1303, travel south on the M11, east on A505 and north on A11 to re-join the A14. Non motorway traffic will be diverted on local roads through Cambridge.
• M11 northbound to A14 eastbound link Girton Jct 31
  Vehicles will be diverted to continue on A14 westbound to Swavesey Jct 24b, exit and return on A14 eastbound for access to Girton Jct 31

Tuesday 18 (one night)

• A14 eastbound Swavesey Jct 24 entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted onto the A1307 eastbound to Bar Hill and join the A14 eastbound at Jct 25

Wednesday 19 (one night)

• A1 southbound Brampton Hut entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted north to Alconbury to join the A1 southbound from here

Thursday 20 (one night)

• A1M southbound Jct 14 to Brampton Hut
  Vehicles will be diverted via A1307 spur road to Spittals and A141 westbound to re-join the A1 southbound at Brampton Hut
• A14 westbound Boxworth/Services Jct 24a exit slip
  Vehicles will be signposted to exit the A14 via the next slip road, Swavesey Jct 24b

Friday 21 (one night)

• A1 southbound Alconbury entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted onto A1307 spur road to Spittals and A141 westbound to join the A1 southbound at Brampton Hut

Saturday 22 (one night) 9pm – 8am

• Brampton Road B1514 between station car park and Edison Bell Way
  Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, St Peters Road to A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
