A14 Road Closures week commencing 3rd August 2020

Full closures
Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 (three nights)
- A1 northbound between Buckden and Brampton Interchange
Vehicles will be diverted onto A428 eastbound at Wyboston, A1198 northbound at Caxton Gibbet and A14 westbound to re-join the A1 at Brampton Interchange - A1 southbound between Brampton Interchange and Brampton village entry slip
Vehicles will be diverted onto A14 eastbound at Brampton Interchange Jct 22, exit at Godmanchester/A1198 Jct 23, A1198 southbound to Caxton Gibbet and A428 westbound to re-join the A1 at Wyboston
Monday 3 (one night) and Wednesday 5 (one night)
- A14 eastbound Histon Jct 32 between exit & entry slips
Vehicles travelling eastbound will be diverted ‘up and over’ the junction using the exit & entry slips - A14 westbound Histon Jct 32 between exit & entry slips
Vehicles travelling westbound will be diverted ‘up and over’ the junction using the exit & entry slips
Thursday 6 to Friday 7 (two nights)
- A1 northbound Alconbury exit slip
Vehicles will be diverted to continue on A1(M) to Sawtry and return on A1(M) southbound OR exit the A1 northbound early at Brampton Hut, and use the A141 eastbound and A1307 spur northbound for access to Alconbury
Thursday 6 (one night)
- A14 eastbound between Godmanchester/A1198 Jct 23 and Bar Hill Jct 25
Vehicles will be diverted onto A1198 southbound and A428 eastbound to re-join the A14 at Girton junction 31. Local traffic will be able to travel north on A1198 to access the A1307.
Friday 7 (one night)
- A1 northbound between Buckden and Brampton Interchange
Vehicles will be diverted onto A428 eastbound at Wyboston, A1198 northbound at Caxton Gibbet and A14 westbound to re-join the A1 at Brampton Interchange - A1 southbound between Brampton Interchange and Brampton village entry slip
Vehicles will be diverted onto A14 eastbound at Brampton Interchange Jct 22, exit at Godmanchester/A1198 Jct 23, A1198 southbound to Caxton Gibbet and A428 westbound to re-join the A1 at Wyboston
Saturday 8 (one night) 9pm – 8am
- Brampton Road B1514 between station car park and Edison Bell Way
Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, St Peters Road to A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
