A14 Road Closures week commencing 22nd June 2020

Full closures

Monday 15 8am to Monday 29 6am

A1307 between Bar Hill /Longstanton junction and Oakington roundabout
Vehicles travelling between Oakington and Bar Hill will be diverted over Dry Drayton overbridge, A1307 Huntingdon Road eastbound to join A14 westbound at Girton and exit at Bar Hill Jct 25. Please follow this diversion in reverse for Bar Hill to Oakington. Travel on the A1307 between Swavesey and Bar Hill remains, as does Dry Drayton to Oakington on weekdays only. Please check the weekend closure for some changes.

Monday 22 to Friday 26 (five nights)

A10 southbound approach to Milton Jct 33
Vehicles will be diverted via Butt Lane, Milton Road, Burgoynes Road, Impington Lane and B1049 Bridge Road to access Cambridge or the A14

Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 (three nights)

A14 westbound Swavesey Jct 24a exit slip
Vehicles will be signposted to leave the A14 at the A1307/Swavesey exit Jct 24b

Wednesday 24 to Thursday 25 (two nights)

A1307 eastbound between The Avenue and A14 westbound Girton Jct 31
Vehicles will be diverted via Scotland Road, Dry Drayton and the A428
A1307 westbound between Cambridge and A14 westbound Girton Jct 31
Vehicles will be diverted to join the A14 at Histon Jct 32 and travel west

Thursday 25 (one night)

A14 westbound to westbound Girton Jct 31
Vehicles will be diverted via A428 westbound to Caxton Gibbet, A1198 northbound to rejoin the A14 at Godmanchester/A1198 Jct 23

Friday 26 8pm to Monday 29 6am

B1040 St Ives Road
Vehicles will be diverted via A1198 and A1307 for access in and out of Hilton
A1307 between B1050 Hattons Road and Oakington roundabout and Dry Drayton overbridge
Vehicles will be diverted via Oakington, Cottenham, Rampton, Willingham and Longstanton. For travel from Dry Drayton to Oakington, drivers will be diverted on A1307 past the Crematorium, onto A14 westbound to exit at Bar Hill and follow the diversion described above, in reverse.

Saturday 27 (one night) 9pm – 8am

Brampton Road B1514 between station car park and Edison Bell Way
Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, Ermine Street B1044 to Spittals roundabout, A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
