Weekend Closure of A14 - Girton to Godmanchester

This coming weekend there will be a full weekend closure of the A14 both Eastbound and Westbound between J31 Girton and J23 Godmanchester
from Friday 17th at 9pm to Monday 20th at 5am. 

For through traffic the usual strategic diversion routes will be in place using the A1198 and A428

For local traffic the A1307 local access road is now open in both direction between Swavesey and Bar Hill and also in both directions past the Crematorium and into Cambridge City Centre along the Huntingdon Road. ( n.b. the planned closure in this area of the A1307 schedule for this weekend has been cancelled ).

This should make local journeys easier for residents.
