A14 Road Closures week commencing 13th January 2020

Full closures
Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 (three nights)

• A14 westbound Brampton Interchange Jct 22 to New Ellington Jct 21
  Vehicles will be diverted onto A1 northbound at Brampton Interchange, exit to Brampton Hut roundabout and then west to re-join the A14 westbound
  

• Local road between B1050 Hattons Road and Oakington roundabout
  Vehicles wishing to exit the A14 westbound for Bar Hill and Longstanton, Jct 25 will need to stay on to Swavesey Jct 24 and return on the eastbound carriageway.  Vehicles wishing to exit the A14 eastbound for Oakington and Dry Drayton will need to stay on the A14 and exit onto A1307 Huntingdon Road, to return west on the local road, past the Crematorium
• A428 eastbound Madingley to A14 eastbound Milton Jct 33
  Motorway traffic will travel south on the M11, east on A505 and north on A11 to re-join the A14. Non motorway traffic will be diverted on local roads through Cambridge.
• M11 Jct 14 exit slip
• A14 westbound between Six Mile Bottom Jct 36 and Girton Jct 31
  Motorway traffic will travel south on the A11, west on the A505 and then north on the M11.  Non motorway traffic will diverted on local roads through Cambridge
  

• A14 Histon Jct 32 northern side of gyratory
  Vehicles wishing to travel into Cambridge from Histon will be diverted along Impington Lane, Milton Road, Butt Lane and then south on the A10. Vehicles wishing to travel into Histon from Cambridge will be diverted along Kings Hedges Road, north on the A10, Butt Lane, Milton Road and Impington Lane
  

• A14 westbound Bar Hill Jct 25 entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted eastbound on the A14 to exit to A1307 Huntingdon Road and access A14 westbound via A1307 Jct 31 entry slip
  

• A14 eastbound Swavesey Jct 24 exit slip
  Vehicles will be diverted east to Bar Hill Jct 25 and return on the westbound carriageway
• A14 westbound Swavesey/A1307 Jct 24b to Godmanchester/A1198 Jct 23
  Vehicles will be diverted along A1307 to Godmanchester and then south on A1198 to re-join the A14 westbound at Jct 23
  

• A1307 spur between A1M Alconbury and Spittals roundabout 
  Vehicles will be diverted south on A1, exit for Brampton Hut roundabout and east on A141
• B1050 Hattons Road between Longstanton roundabout and local road
  Vehicles wishing to access Longstanton will be diverted along local road to Oakington roundabout and then via Oakington, Cottenham, Rampton and Willingham
  

• A1 northbound Brampton Hut exit slip
  Vehicles will be diverted north to Alconbury to then use A1 southbound and either continue or exit for access to Brampton Hut roundabout
• A1 northbound Brampton Hut entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted east along A141 and then north at Spittals roundabout to the spur road to re-join the A1 northbound at Alconbury
• Woolley Road
• A14 westbound Milton Jct 33 entry slip
  Vehicles will be diverted east to exit at Stow cum Quy Jct 35 and return on westbound carriageway
  

• A14 eastbound Swavesey Jct 24 to Bar Hill Jct 25
  Vehicles will be diverted south on A1198 at Jct 23 and east on A428 to re-join the A14
  

• Brampton Road B1514 between station car park and Edison Bell Way
  Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, Ermine Street B1044 to Spittals roundabout, A141 west to Brampton /Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514. Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.
