Public Meeting - Presentation

Following the agreement by Longstanton Parish Council at their October full council meeting to hold a public meeting about the Community Governance Review (CGR) a public meeting was held on Monday 25th November at Longstanton Village Hall.
Please can we extend our thanks to SCDC Officers who were able to attend to answer questions raised by residents. Cllr delaMare-Lyon provided a presentation to everyone attending which is attached for your information. As a reminder there are several more public drop-ins if you have any questions you would like to put to the officers. These are listed below.

It must be stressed that the only way for residents to provide comments to South Cambs about their thoughts for the CGR is to complete the submission form either online or in paper format. We are happy to collect the paper copies if residents are struggling to get to SCDC but they must be at the parish office no later than 10th January 2020.
Finally, Longstanton Parish Council has asked SCDC for enough paper copies of the submission form to deliver to every house - in an attempt to ensure that every household is aware of the CGR taking place. Please keep an eye out for these coming through your door and be aware that these are to be completed and at SCDC no later than 15th January 2020.
