Resilient Village

In an effort to be a resilient village and to help us look out for each other, Longstanton Parish Council has recently signed up as a supporter of 'Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Against Scams Partnership'.
As a supporter we will:
- Print and display scams awareness posters and display in key locations around the village;
- Signpost people to express 'online training' at www.friendsagainstscams.org.uk/elearning/Cambridgeshire which will allow people to become a 'Friend Against Scams' (make a cup of tea and complete in just 20 minutes)
- Distribute scams awareness materials to the most vulnerable members of the community who may not be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes we do not realise it is happening to friends and family.
